TGS has secured the award of a streamer acquisition contract in Africa and the Middle East region with an unnamed company.
As a result, a 3D Ramform vessel is scheduled to begin acquisition activity in early September 2026. This contract has a duration of approximately 55 days.
Kristian Johansen , CEO of TGS, commented : “I am very pleased with this contract award, which builds visibility into the winter season.
“Our Ramform acquisition platform, combined with the proprietary GeoStreamer technology will provide the client with high quality data that enables more accurate and informed decision-making in their oil and gas exploration activities.”
This deal follows TGS’ announcement of a large-scale multi-client seismic product job across Equatorial Guinea’s offshore basins.
