Dutch integrated subsea solutions service provider N-Sea Group has appointed former Chief Operating Officer (COO) Pim Nelemans as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) after Martin Adler stepped down.

Adler, who was the company’s CEO over the past five years, will remain as N-Sea’s shareholder and Chairman of the Advisory Board.

“After more than five years leading N-Sea following its acquisition by CapitalChange in 2021, we have achieved the key objectives set out to accomplish, and I believe that it is the right moment to hand over leadership,” Adler said.

“Together, we have transformed N-Sea into a stronger, more professional, and more resilient organisation. We have expanded our capabilities across survey, UXO ID & clearance, cable repair & installation and IRM, construction & decommissioning, strengthened our position in key international markets, and rebuilt N-Sea as a recognised and trusted integrated subsea services provider.”

The appointment of the new CEO is effective as of June 15. The day-to-day management will be carried out by the Management Board, consisting of Nelemans and Ann Porte as the current Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Before joining N-Sea, Nelemans held senior leadership roles at Dockwise and Boskalis, including Managing Director of Heavy Marine Transport and Director of Estimating and Engineering Offshore.

“I would like to sincerely thank Martin Adler for his outstanding leadership and the strong foundation he has built over the past years. Under his guidance, N-Sea has evolved into a high-performing, ambitious and forward-looking subsea services provider, with a clear strategic direction and strong market positioning,” said Nelemans .

“Together with the management team and our talented people, we will focus on international expansion, delivering innovative and smart solutions, maintaining operational excellence and creating long-term value for our customers, partners and shareholders.”
