France’s Gaztransport & Technigaz (GTT) is responsible for the tank design of four new liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers that will be built for UAE-based ADNOC Logistics and Services (ADNOC L&S), the maritime logistics and shipping arm of ADNOC Group.
GTT has received an order from China’s Jiangnan shipyard for the tank design of four new LNG carriers on behalf of the shipowner ADNOC Logistics and Services.
The French firm will design the cryogenic tanks of the vessels, each offering a total capacity of 175,000 cubic meters.
The tanks will be fitted with the firm’s Mark III Flex membrane containment system. The vessels are scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2029.
This order comes more than a month after GTT Marine, a division of GTT, was hired to deploy its integrated vessel performance solutions across a fleet of LNG carriers working for Petronas.
