The Governor of the Amur region, Oleg Kozhemjako, has promised that Russian fishers will receive help in purchasing new small seiners to aid local fishing enterprises. Mr Kozhemjako made the announcement during the recent fourth international congress of fishermen in Vladivostok. He said that the Blagoveschensk Shipyard would build newly designed fishing vessels.
