Floatel International, an offshore accommodation provider, has secured a new assignment for its ten-year-old semi-submersible accommodation and construction support vessel with an undisclosed company off the coast of Brazil.
Floatel International has received a letter of intent (LOI) for the 2016-built Floatel Triumph vessel to provide maintenance and safety unit (MSU) services offshore Brazil.
“This letter of intent reinforces Floatel International’s strong presence in Brazil and highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality services,” emphasized the firm.
Floatel Triumph is designed for worldwide operation with emphasis on some of the harshest environmental conditions in the world. The MSU assignment, which is for four to eight months, is scheduled to begin in Q1 2027.
This comes months after Floatel converted a letter of intent from October 2025 into a firm contract, enabling the 2013-built Floatel Victory to provide maintenance and safety unit services to Brava Energia in Brazil.
