At least eight ships with Scandinavian connections are found on the Paris MOU list of detained vessels in August. The Danish flagged Maria Soltin, owned by Soltin Shipment AS, was detained for the longest period of time with its 13 days in Antwerp with 16 deficiencies, five of which were reason for detention. Most of the eight vessels were detained for only one day, for example the Swedish Pallas Ocean, Pallas Shipping AB, which were detained in Szczecin with nine deficiencies, two were reason for detention. The Maersk Vermont, the Hav Tind, the Wilson Husum and the Stolt Courage were also detained for one day in August.
