Russia: Gazprom’s offshore developments require over 300 vessels

Speaking at the Neva Shipbuilding and Shipping Conference held last week in St Petersburg, Russia, the Vice President of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, Sergey Forafonov said that Gazprom’s plans for offshore developments would require over 300 vessels to be built. Mr Forafonov said that this brought plenty of opportunity to shipyards in Russia, and outlined a huge investment plan for new facilities in the country.
