First fishing vessel to be fitted with SkySails

Diederik Parlevliet, CEO of Parlevliet & Van der Plas fishing company in the Netherlands, and Stephan Wrage, Managing Director of SkySails, Germany, signed a purchase agreement on October 6, 2009, for the world’s first towing-kite wind propulsion system to be installed on a fishing trawler.
