Leighton International’s offshore oil and gas division has unveiled a new state-of-the-art pipelay and offshore construction vessel in Batam, Indonesia. Christened Leighton Eclipse, the 130m long vessel was constructed by Leighton International and will initially be deployed in India on its $US750 million Pipeline Replacement Project (PRP II) contract in the Mumbai High field approximately 180km off the coast of Mumbai for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).
