Lloyd’s Register reports strong year despite difficult market

In his report on the accounts for the year ended June 30, 2009, David Moorhouse, CBE, Chairman of Lloyd’s Register, has announced that group income for the period rose by 38 percent to £820 million (US$1.3 billion), due in large part to favourable exchange rate movements year on year.
