The arrival of the German Cruise Liner AIDA CARA on Sunday morning marked a new beginning for Kochi Port to emerge as a turnaround port in this part of the world. Mr N Ramachandran chairman of the Port Trust said the anchoring of this tourist vessel can be seen as a new step in the cruise business of the port with the conduct of passenger turnaround involving a total of 1,937 guests.
