Whangarei superyacht interiors company Specialist Marine Interiors has scored its biggest-ever contract, which will provide more than 150,000 hours of work for the company and create jobs. The project – a complete interior fit-out for an overseas-based ‘mega-yacht’ over 70m long – will bring new marine industry jobs for skilled and trainee marine cabinetmakers and skilled installers working in Whangarei and at an undisclosed location overseas.
