Emirates Business 24/7 reported that the canal at Al Musaffah industrial area is to be dredged by the National Marine Dredging Company at a cost of AED 1.5 billion following the signing of an agreement with the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council. Mr Mohammed Thani Murshed Al Rumaithi chairman of NMDC said that the project would assist the development of Al Mussafah area by giving ships with a draught of up to 9 meters access to the canal.
