Lundin Petroleum has spudded a new appraisal well on its near 100 m bbl Luno area discovery offshore Norway with the start of drillling in Production Licence 338. Drilling on the new 16/1-13 well is aimed at further appraisal of the Luno discovery which was first made back in 2007 and then further confirmed with the 16/1-10 well which spudded in late 2008 and completed earlier this year.
