Aberdeen-based Dana Petroleum is following through on a letter of intent signed a couple of months ago to acquire a further stake in exploration acreage offshore the Republic of Guinea. Under an original letter of intent with US-based Hyperdynamics last October, Dana agreed to acquire a 23% stake in territory licensed by Hyperdynamics, and Dana is now following through with a signed sale and purchase agreement.
