Technip has signalled that it is to start work on a Front End Engineering and Design study for a floating LNG vessel destined for a pre-sale oil discovery offshore Brazil. The French contractor is to work with JGC Corporation on the FEED as part of a design competition launched by Petrobras with BG Group, Repsol and Galp Energie for a pre-salt discovery in the Santos Basin offshore Brazil.
