The 9th Venice International Boat Show opens its doors to the public this month with a renewed sense of optimism. According to a 2009 study by the Research & Intelligence Division of BMps, the Italian yachting market is expected to grow at an average rate of 5 per cent during the 2010-12 period, although market recovery will largely depend on the industry’s ability to target new emerging markets.
