Itajai joins 2011 – 12 route

The city of Itajaí, in Brazil’s southern state of Santa Catarina, was confirmed today as the South American stopover for the 2011-12 race. It is the first time that the port of Itajaí, which lies 56 miles north of Florianopolis, will play host to the event.
