Striking workers at SeaFrance have ended their industrial action which had disrupted cross-Channel services from the Kent port of Dover for five days. The strike, which began on Friday, left ferries stranded in Calais after members of the CFDT union walked out in a row over new working practices. Tens of thousands of passengers were affected over the Easter bank holiday weekend as all services were cancelled.
