The Turkish flagged Bulk Carrier Yasin C has been hijacked 250 nautical miles east of Mombasa, Kenya, reports EU Navfor. The vessel has a crew of 25, all are believed to be Turkish. The Nato Turkish warship Gelibolu received distress calls from the Yasin C. The 36,318 DWT-vessel was not sailing in the IRTC (International Recommended Transit Corridor) when it was attacked.
