A CONSENT hearing to dredge and dump sediment at inshore locations has been adjourned so that overseas expert witnesses can attend. Pine Harbour Marina has applied to Auckland Regional Council for a 20-year consent to dredge up to 3000 cubic metres of sediment annually from the marina’s approach channel at Beachlands, and dump it over 49 hectares between Cockle Bay and Flat Island (Motukaraka).
