As from April 13, Metrans started a rail shuttle Rotterdam – Prague, with a frequency of three times per week in both directions. In Rotterdam the train calls at RSC in the Eemhaven/City area and at Maasvlakte at the terminals of ECT and Euromax.
The terminal in Prague is utilised for cargo to and from Bohemia, southern Poland and northern Austria. Moreover daily through connections by train are offered with Dunajska Streda for Hungary, northern Austria and southern Slovakia, Zlin for Moravia, southern Poland and northern Slovakia. Finally, there are daily shuttles via Pilsen with western Bohemia and Bavaria.
