Norway: Deep Sea Supply Takes Delivery of New AHTS Vessel

Deep Sea Supply yesterday took delivery of “Sea Marten”, a newbuilding AHTS from ABG Shipyard, India. “Sea Marten” is the 4th delivery in a series of 9 newbuilding AHTS vessels from ABG. As previously announced, the vessel will directly mobilize to Brazil and commence a 3 year time charter contract

Deep Sea Supply yesterday took delivery of “Sea Marten”, a newbuilding AHTS from ABG Shipyard, India.

“Sea Marten” is the 4th delivery in a series of 9 newbuilding AHTS vessels from ABG. As previously announced, the vessel will directly mobilize to Brazil and commence a 3 year time charter contract with Petrobras. The Deep Sea Supply fleet now consists of 15 AHTS and 8 PSVs, in total 23 vessels. In addition to this, Deep Sea Supply also has another 6 vessels under construction.

Deep Sea Supply Plc is an offshore supply company. The Company is a shipowner and operator of several Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessels (“AHTS vessels”) and Platform Supply Vessel (“PSV”) in operation and has an extensive new building program. The delivery of the new buildings will be in the period 2007 to 2009.
