The 150.000 DWT Norwegian flagged crude oil tanker Wilmina, built 1997, has been banned from all US ports for three years. After a tip from a crew member, the US Coast Guard found evidence of illegal oil discharges on board, a forged oil record book, oily water separators not working, oil residue in pipes leading overboard and that the master and chief engineer were unfamiliar with and failed to comply with the safety management system for the vessel.
