The province will provide up to $15.2 million for the proposed dredging of Sydney Harbour once Ottawa agrees to fund the rest, deputy premier Frank Corbett says. Corbett will lead a delegation to the capital in the coming days to try to secure the remaining $20 million needed for the project to go ahead this summer. His announcement Tuesday came more than a week after a funding deadline set by the contractor expired.
