Government to buy freezing containers for fishing cooperatives

The government of southern Cunene province is intending to buy freezer containers for fishery cooperatives to promote river fishing in the inland province, the head of the local artisanal fishery institute revealed today. According to Joao Gaspar the scarcity of freezing conditions is the main concern the fishermen in the province and due to electric power shortage the government will install solar energy freezing containers in the effort to help the self-support of riverside communities in the combat against hunger and poverty through the creation of new jobs in the fishing activity.
