UK: Red7Marine Buys DAMENs STAN Tug 1205 at Seawork Exhibition

Damen’s STAN Tug 1205 on the pontoons (A36) has been purchased at the Seawork exhibition by their fellow exhibitor Red7Marine.

Nick Offord, (MD of Red7) commented: “We came to Seawork with a view to investigating our first major tug purchase and found that the first-of-type vessel brought by Damen would meet our needs to manoeuvre our 16 vessel fleet perfectly.”

Red7Marine is a leading provider of offshore, maritime and inland subsea engineering and marine construction services. Red7Marine retains a wide and varied client base within the offshore oil and gas, marine renewables, framework, public and private sectors.

Damen is a Netherlands shipbuilding company which was founded in 1927 by Jan and Marinus Damen in a self-built workshop. In 1954 their 200th ship was delivered.
