Actuant reports higher sales, jump in net income

Actuant Corporation today reported sales of US$335m for the third quarter ended May 31, 2010, up 17 per cent compared to the same quarter a year ago. Actuant Corporation today reported sales of US$335m for the third quarter ended May 31, 2010, up 17 per cent compared to the same quarter a year ago. Net income was US$21.8m for the quarter, compared to a net loss of US$17.6m a year ago. Actuant’s Electrical Segment, which includes its Marinco Electrical Group, said sales rose three per cent to US$87m for the quarter.
