With Jakarta underwater once again, the city administration is busy making plans and more plans to curb flooding, but at least one expert wants to know when residents can expect action. The Jakarta administration has said it hopes to reduce flooding in the capital by 40 percent by the end of next year, but urban planning expert Yayat Supriatna said the first thing that was needed was the political will to see the job through.
