BP sells assets to Apache

BP has begun the widely-anticipated asset sales to pay for its liabilities for the Gulf of Mexico oil spill by signing deals with Apache. Apache Corporation is to acquire BP assets onshore in the US, Canada and Egypt worth a total of US $7 Bn the Anglo-American oil giant declared today.
