Corps of Engineers Awards $5.5 Million Contract For Newburyport Harbor Dredging Project

Maintenance dredging of the Newburyport Harbor Federal Navigation Project in Newburyport, Mass., will be completed under the terms of a $5,518,525 contract issued recently by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District. Maintenance dredging of the Newburyport Harbor Federal Navigation Project in Newburyport, Mass., will be completed under the terms of a $5,518,525 contract issued recently by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District. The maintenance dredging, which will be accomplished by Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Company, LLC, of Oak Brook, Ill., will take about two to three months to complete and is scheduled to start in September 2010.
