Sweden’s Ekomarine AB is to received SEK8.4m in EU funding for the development of long-acting non-toxic antifouling paint. The project will take place over a three-year period and will be be run in cooperation with a large Swedish shipping company. “It’s very satisfying that we, as one of three Swedish companies, have received this support to continue our product development,” says Ulf Holmström, chairman of the board of Ekomarine AB.
