Consilium in Middle East has received a fire safety order of 8 MSEK for an extension of a tank terminal in Port of Fujairah.

The tank terminal is owned by Emarat, a government owned petroleum distributor in UAE. Consilium Automation in Middle East is awarded the contract from the engineering company Tata Projects. This project is an extension of an existing tank terminal with 13 tanks for storage of refined oil products.

The order for Consilium includes design, engineering, test and commissioning of equipment and systems for fire protection, with foam, water and gas suppression systems, as well as a central monitoring and control system.

“This is one more important order for our Automation operation in the Middle East”, says Ove Hansson, Consilium President and CEO.
