Juliet GDF Suez aims to tap its UK North Sea Juliet gas field discovery with a tieback to the BP Amethyst platform. Juliet discovered with the 47/14b-10 well drilled in 2008, which flowed at 38 Mmcf/d of gas from a 6 metre (20 ft) interval on test, is to be tapped via a two subsea wells and a 10-inch export pipeline and umbilical line to the BP-operated Amethyst 2D platform which lies 9 km (5.6 miles) north, according to information seen by Offshore247.com.
