STX to build two anchor handlers

STX Norway Offshore has through its Brazilian subsidiary signed a contract with Norskan Offshore to build two AHTS-vessels (Anchor Handling Tug Supply) for delivery in 2012 and 2013. The vessels of the new AH 11-design from STX’s design office in Ålesund, are purpose built for deepwater operations.

The vessels of the new AH 11-design from STX’s design office in Ålesund, are purpose built for deepwater operations. The vessels will be built at STX Brazil Offshore in Niteroi, Brazil.
