The 2010 edition of the Saudi International Boat Show will showcase a wider mix of products and services that cater to the growing number of marine developments that are due to be implemented in the GCC region over the coming years. According to event organiser Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), international suppliers will benefit from the recent announcement of 12 major maritime projects with a collective value of over US$35bn that are scheduled to begin within the next three years — including three in Saudi Arabia in King Abdullah Economic City, Jizan Economic City and the Kingdom City.
