Finnboat reports good recovery

Finnish marine industries federation Finnboat has revealed that 6,233 small craft and motorboats were sold in Finland during the first six months of 2010, resulting in a 13.5 per cent rise over the same time last year. Deliveries of small boats below 6m (20ft) were up by 11.5 per cent to 5,751 units

Finnish marine industries federation Finnboat has revealed that 6,233 small craft and motorboats were sold in Finland during the first six months of 2010, resulting in a 13.5 per cent rise over the same time last year.

Deliveries of small boats below 6m (20ft) were up by 11.5 per cent to 5,751 units; boats from 6m-8m (20ft-26ft) were up 25.6 per cent to 392 units; and boats from 8m-10m (26ft-33ft) grew by 28 per cent to 64 units.
