ESL Shipping’s newbuilding named

The 18,800 DWT bulk carrier under construction for ESL Shipping at ABG shipyard in India has been named Alppila. The vessel is ice strengthened, satisfying the regulations of the highest Finnish/Swedish Ice Class 1A Super. Scheduled for delivery in the end of 2010, the vessel is designed for traffic

The 18,800 DWT bulk carrier under construction for ESL Shipping at ABG shipyard in India has been named Alppila. The vessel is ice strengthened, satisfying the regulations of the highest Finnish/Swedish Ice Class 1A Super. Scheduled for delivery in the end of 2010, the vessel is designed for traffic in the Baltic Sea area. ESL Shipping also has two ice-strengthened 56,000 DWT bulk carriers on order at Hyundai Mipo shipyard in South Korea.
