Dredging on Loyang Starts Soon (Singapore)

Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore announces a revision of dredging works at Loyang Offshore Base, Serangoon Harbour, with effect from 15 September 2010 to 14 March 2011. Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore announces a revision of dredging works at Loyang Offshore Base, Serangoon Harbour, with effect from 15 September 2010 to 14 March 2011.

Construction of the new jetty will entail piling, concrete works, casting of dolphins, installation of walkways and construction of superstructure.

Piling and concrete works will be carried out by crane barge “POE 1829”.

Dredging works will be carried out by a dredger within the working area.

The safety boats will be in attendance throughout the duration of the construction works to warn other craft of the works in the vicinity.
