The large international naval exercise Northern Coasts 10 is being held in the Baltic Sea between September 13 and September 24, 2010. The exercise is hosted by the Finnish Navy and during the week end before it started most of the vessels visited Turku. In this two-week exercise, there are some 4,000 persons, 50 naval vessels, ten helicopters, one submarine and 25 aircraft involved.
