Norway: Bergen Oilfield Services Wins North Sea 3D Acquisition Contract

Bergen Oilfield Services AS (BOS) is delighted to announce that we have signed a contract with LOTOS Exploration and Production Norge AS, acting as Operator on behalf of the License Group in PL 503, of a 1563 sqkm acquisition program of 3D Seismic Data in the area of PL 503 in the southern part of the North Sea.

The survey will be acquired during the summer of 2011 by BOS Arctic vessel in the North Sea this summer.

VP Marketing and Sales in BOS, Jan S Søvik, in an announcement states that “BOS is very pleased to be selected by LOTOS to perform this 3D program in the North Sea and we are truly looking forward to be visiting the North Sea again with our vessels. Recent awards indicate that the North Sea may be looking forward to another active seismic year.”
