AGR Field Operations announced today that they have appointed Jan Smid as their Country Manager in Brazil. Mr. Smid will be responsible for the expansion in the Brazilian Oil & Gas market. In addition to this, Jan will support the roll-out of all AGR Field Operations products and services in other South American markets.
Jan brings 23 years of experience working within the inspection and subsea integrity industry in Brazil for several Brazilian and international companies. Mr. Smid brings with him a wealth of experience from his previous roles, most recently as the General Manager with Marine Production Systems do Brasil, a division of Oceaneering. Other previous work has been with SGS do Brasil, and NDT Brasil.

During 2010, we did projects for the Brazilian market remotely from other locations.
