U.S.-headquartered energy services provider Expro has won a multimillion-dollar deal to provide integrated well services for a major life-extension campaign off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada.
The 14-well project, which is set to kick off in early 2027, will see Expro provide integrated well services across well construction, well flow management, and subsea well access to support a life-extension campaign offshore Newfoundland.
The undisclosed operator, which the U.S. firm describes as a major Canadian operator, also has options for additional wells. The American player’s multi-product line scope is designed to reduce interface complexity by bringing several well intervention services into a coordinated package across the campaign.

Given the harsh operating environment offshore Newfoundland, Expro emphasizes that its strong track record in this domain will help optimize project design and minimize operational risk.
Previously, the firm supported campaigns offshore Eastern Canada with high-specification equipment in complex operating conditions, which enabled it to gain a deep understanding of the practical challenges of delivering work safely and efficiently.
The latest contract comes a month after Expro landed a deal with an unknown UK operator in the North Sea plug and abandonment (P&A) market.
