AGR Field Operations has been awarded a contract by Hyundai Heavy Industries for the provision of Maintenance Engineering and Inspection Planning services for the Goliat FPSO. These services will be provided as part of the EPCI delivery from HHI to ENI Norge.
Starting in Jan 2011, the scope of work includes the provision of a criticality based maintenance program which complies with Norwegian PSA regulations. In addition to this, AGR will setup the plans for Availability Analysis, RBI’s and Inspection Planning for the Goliat FPSO.
AGR Field Operations’ Norwegian and Australian organization will both participate in delivering this project over the next two years.
The Goliat project is ENI Norge’s first production operation within the PSA regime and the company is very focused on establishing a safe and cost efficient maintenance program conforming to regulations.
ENI Norge Head of Maintenance Egil Nøland attended the kick off meeting and stated; “ We find the PSA regulations and objectives very helpful to accomplish our goals to achieve safe and cost efficient operations, in our mind the regulations are just common sense put in order. We are happy HHI selected AGR to provide ENI Norge with a complete Maintenance Management system.”
Åge Landro, EVP AGR Field operations commented ; “This is AGR Field Operations first delivery to both Hyundai Heavy Industries in Korea as well as ENI Norge. We are very happy to be working with both HHI and ENI and we look forward to continuing our relationship in the future. This project will help us in growing our expertise and service offerings to EPCI contractors.”
