At a ceremony Ulstein Poland’s new, co-located offices in Gdynia, Ulstein Design & Solutions and DNV Poland signed a Letter of Intent signaling the start of a closer working relationship between the two companies.
Both parties will benefit from the sharing of knowledge and practices which will help develop capability and improve competitiveness. The agreement describes collaboration activities which are specific to the unique opportunities provided by the shared location at DNVs Technology Centre, and is further to the Co-operation Agreement between Det Norske Veritas AS, Norway, and Ulstein Group ASA signed by Tore Ulstein in October last year.
Ulstein Poland and DNVs division in Poland are co-located in DNVs new Technology Centre.
“This agreement is a clear signal of our intent to become a really cost effective marine engineering businesses; integrated in our approach with the DNV, and always at the forefront of technological development” says Kasia Romantowska, Technical Manager, Ulstein Poland.
