The marine products carrier “Borneo Seafood 1” was successfully redelivered by CIC Boluomiao Shipyard on April 29, 2011. The ship’s owner was very satisfied with repair performance, quality, technology, safety arrangement and all services provided by the shipyard.
The ship arrived at the shipyard’s premises on April 11th. Her main work scope was routine dry-docking repair, hull treatment, cement plate re-laying, frames and ballast lines renewal i.w.o. double bottom tanks, and other items. There was one keel, with size of about 250 mm by 250 mm like a knife, passing through the entire bottom of the vessel, which made it very hard for her dry-docking. Full arrangement and detailed schedule were prepared by the shipyard in advance to ensure a successful docking operation.
Each repair items had its specialty, of either high technical difficulty or under poor working environment. In line with the principle of “The ship owner’s requirement is what we always pursue”, all staffs have been working without complaints. All professional workers had closely coordinated with each other, ensuring strict quality control and eliminating quality potential in the bud. The tests and inspection of all repair items was passed by one time. Good brand of CIC Boluomiao shipyard has been well propagandized one more time.
