Hydratight has gained the “Verify” supplier standard set by First Point Assessment Limited (FPAL).
The FPAL rating is a first-stop competency mark which proves to potential customers that Hydratight has achieved identifiable standards in its industry, obviating the need for potential customers to undergo a lengthy investigatory process to determine Hydratight’s abilities.
“FPAL registration is fast becoming a mandatory requirement for suppliers in the UK oil and gas markets and we’re delighted to achieve verify status,” explained Dave Stout Hydratight’s health and safety manager for the EMEA region.
FPAL’s auditors assessed Hydratight’s health and safety, environmental, competence and training practices to universal oil and gas industry standards. Their assessment of Hydratight’s systems brought an impressive final score of 94 percent range.
“This is pretty high for any company, but especially one working in a field such as ours,” explained Dave.
The full report is available to organisations registered with FPAL, which include Shell, BP, Petrofac and many more of the industry’s major operators.
