Members of energy trade body, the Energy Industry Council, were given a technology demonstration by piping integrity specialist, STATS Group, and a tour of the company’s Kintore headquarters.
STATS Group technical director, Angus Bowie, gave a presentation on the company’s background and an introduction to its BISEP™ technology, along with a talk on Temporary Double Block and Bleed Isolation and Intervention.
The STATS Group visit is the first of a number of Upstream Forums which will be run by the 600 member EIC, which is the leading trade association for UK companies supplying goods and services to the global energy industries.
STATS are a leading provider of pipeline and process isolation and intervention services and technologies across the oil, gas and petrochemical industries, which reduce system or plant downtime and enhance safety and environmental performance.
