Helix Energy Solutions Group, Inc. announced that it has promoted Cliff Chamblee to Executive Vice President – Contracting Services. Helix’s Contracting Services divisions include the Subsea Construction, Well Operations and Robotics business units.
Mr. Chamblee co-founded Canyon Offshore, Inc in 1997 and has been with Helix since its acquisition of the business in 2002, most recently serving as President of that business unit. He also served as Senior Vice President of the Americas at Sonsub Inc. from 1986 to 1997.
Owen Kratz, President and Chief Executive Officer of Helix , stated, “ I am pleased to announce Cliff’s promotion to this position. He has proven to be an invaluable asset to Helix through his leadership of our Robotics business. Canyon Offshore is a global leader in its field and has consistently generated excellent financial performance under Cliff’s leadership.
