Navingo BV – organizer of Offshore Energy 2011 Exhibition & Conference (11 & 12 October, Amsterdam RAI) – is pleased to announce that André Goedée, CEO of Dockwise, and Michael Kahn, CEO of Jumbo, will join the Committee of Recommendation. This Committee will help secure the international ambitions of Offshore Energy. A growing number of (international) visitors and exhibitors at previous editions already made Navingo decide to move Offshore Energy 2011 to the RAI Amsterdam. This location meets the accessibility and capacity standards of an international, two-day event. Like the other members of the Committee, André Goedée and Michael Kahn can make a great contribution to the further internationalization of the event.
Navingo’s goal is to develop Offshore Energy into a leading, international two-day event that welcomes the global offshore industry. This will make Offshore Energy an excellent platform for the Netherlands to position itself as an offshore country. In order to realize these international ambitions, a worldwide media campaign has been launched. Offshore Energy is being promoted in leading international magazines and has worldwide mediapartners. Also, the event will be promoted at several leading international offshore and oil and gas exhibitions.
To further realize international ambitions, a Committee of Recommendation has been established. The Committee consists of the following leaders in the offshore industry:

André Goedée and Michael Kahn just joined the Committee. The members of the Committee have the experience and network that is needed to advice Navingo about the further internationalization and professionalization of the exhibition and conference.
Already 140 exhibitors have secured their booths, including companies like Heerema Group and DNV. A considerable number of the exhibitors are internationally operating companies. Exhibitors’ registration ends September 1. Also, the conference program – consisting of the Global Energy Outlook, Floating LNG and Upstream Innovations conferences – is aimed to attract both a national and international group of delegates. Delegate registration opens the 1st of June .
